Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. is seeking a Data Center IT Infrastructure Technician to support client requests inside our data centers.

You will troubleshoot hardware, rack and stack equipment, install PDUs, and maintain documentation, working with servers, network devices, and power systems. This role requires 3–5 years in a data center or help desk, CompTIA A+ (Network+ preferred), and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in a data center environment or help desk.
• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent experience required.
• CompTIA Network+ and BICSI Installer 1 preferred.
• Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and enterprise ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Unbox, inventory, and install client hardware into racks.
• Manage assets, perform inventory audits, and handle shipping/receiving.
• Coordinate technical tasks with internal groups to drive requests to resolution.
• Install cabling per standards and label components.
• Troubleshoot enterprise hardware and perform component replacements.
• Perform commissioning/decommissioning of hardware in client enclosures.
