Job summary

F6 Data Solutions seeks Field Service Technicians to install, startup, and troubleshoot large-scale cooling systems across hyperscale data centers. This hands-on role requires diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues in dynamic project environments and supporting commissioning activities with senior technicians.

You may travel up to 100% on project assignments, and compensation ranges from $40–$48 per hour plus per diem where applicable.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years' experience with HVAC, mechanical systems or industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with hydronic systems preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and piping diagrams.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics and control systems.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to fly to work regions.

Responsibilities

• Support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mission-critical cooling systems in hyperscale data centers.
• Perform troubleshooting tasks with minimal supervision and assist senior technicians during complex startups.
• Assist with equipment startup & commissioning for CRAH, IRHX, and DAHU units.
• Identify system performance issues and document findings.
• Coordinate with startup leads and field teams; participate in daily safety meetings.
• Maintain organized documentation and equipment records and complete checklists/reports.
