Job summary

ITW Electronic Component Solutions (ECS) is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow the Formex data center business in the United States, with a focus on the Midwest. You will lead market research, develop GTM plans, and coordinate global engineering efforts to deliver customer-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Sciences, Engineering, Marketing or Sales is required.
• MBA is preferred for advanced business leadership and strategy.
• Minimum 3 years' experience proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Demonstrated hunter mindset with a track record of building a strong sales pipeline.
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations for customers and prospects.
• Strong communication, stress management, and priority-setting skills.
• Travel up to 50% to cover US territory, especially Midwest.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business and product development potential for ITW Formex data center segment.
• Define market requirements through market research and customer visits.
• Develop and implement a go-to-market plan with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze markets to identify growth opportunities and profitability.
• Coordinate requirements with Formex US/Formex Shanghai teams for quick solutions.
• Assist management with resourcing, budgeting, and problem solving.
• Provide updates on market competition and trends to leadership.
• Develop short- and long-range plans for increased penetration and sales.
• Submit monthly status reports by product line on key activities.
• Collaborate with OEM/ODM/CM for fabricator opportunities and solutions.
• Grow revenue base in the data center space.
