Job summary

Instawork seeks a General Manager, Data Centers to scale the data center vertical from pilot to enterprise. You will drive strategy, build partnerships with contractors, operators, and hyperscalers, and expand footprint in key markets to accelerate the marketplace flywheel.

You will lead cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to move quickly, iterate on solutions, and ensure scalable, automated execution in dynamic environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in commercial construction (data center or equivalent) or data center operations experience.
• Experience scaling operations and partnerships across multiple markets.
• Ability to manage high-growth expansions and cross-functional initiatives.
• Comfort solving unstructured problems in a rapidly evolving industry.

Responsibilities

• Scale data center vertical from 1 to 10 by driving operational excellence and standardizing onboarding and safety protocols.
• Refine and execute growth strategy; cultivate relationships with general contractors, data center operators, and hyperscalers.
• Analyze labor, compliance, and safety needs for active sites; use data to anticipate partner pain points and optimize workforce deployment.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to remove friction and build scalable processes.
