Job summary

Core Scientific is seeking a Critical Facilities Manager to lead data center operations across multiple campuses. You will build and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and assistants, ensuring reliable power, cooling, and safety while maintaining 100% uptime for customers.

Strong leadership and financial acumen are essential for success. You will drive adherence to SLAs, standard operating procedures, and CMMS processes, coordinating with construction and operations teams during site

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in mission-critical environments; 3+ years leading non-exempt shifts.
• Excellent verbal/written communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Financial acumen to create budgets and perform invoices and analyses.

Responsibilities

• Manage data center facilities operations and asset maintenance.
• Build and lead a team of technicians and assistant managers.
• Oversee power, cooling, and environmental monitoring for 100% availability.
• Resolve electrical, mechanical, and fire protection issues promptly.
• Own customer relationships and serve as single point of contact for facility issues.
• Develop site operating procedures and CMMS usage, audits, and reports.
