Job summary

T5 Data Centers is seeking a Critical Facilities Manager to lead data center operations with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and staff development. The role builds a high-performing team of technicians and managers to achieve 100% availability for enterprise and hyperscale clients.

You will drive continual improvements, manage budgets, and coordinate with multiple internal groups to ensure smooth onboarding of new sites and adherence to all T5 standards and lease expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5–7+ years in mission-critical environments.
• Minimum 5 years direct management of non-exempt shift-based employees.
• Technical training in mission-critical operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete physical asset pertaining to operation and maintenance of critical data center infrastructure.
• Build a staff of technicians and junior managers to deliver 100% uptime while minimizing risk.
• Manage power, cooling and environmental conditions within the data halls.
• Resolve electrical, mechanical and fire protection issues promptly and communicate with management and customers.
• On-call 24x7 to respond to data center emergencies.
• Oversee customer relationships and act as single point of contact for facility issues, schedules, projects, budgets.
• Onboarding of new sites with teams to ensure seamless transition to operations and adherence to standards.
• Guide day-to-day facilities staff, coaching and progression.
• Develop site operating procedures and documentation for accuracy.
