Job summary

Core Scientific, Inc. is seeking a Critical Facilities Manager to oversee data center operations across our Auburn campuses. You will lead engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure 100% uptime and safety.

Responsibilities include managing power and cooling, CMMS implementation, staff development, budget oversight, and customer liaison. This role requires a proactive leader with strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in mission-critical environments.
• 3+ years of direct management of non-exempt shift-based employees.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete physical asset upkeep of data center infrastructure.
• Build a staff of technicians and assistants to deliver 100% uptime.
• Oversee power, cooling, and environmental monitoring within data halls.
• Resolve electrical, mechanical, and fire protection issues with minimal impact.
• Act as single point of contact for facility-related issues and clients.
• Onboard new sites ensuring 100% policy and lease compliance.
• Develop site operating procedures and CMMS usage standards.
• Enforce SLA adherence and review changes that could affect operations.
