Job summary

Core Scientific in Texas operates high-density data centers and provides critical infrastructure services. The Assistant Critical Facilities Manager will assist in day-to-day data center operations, supporting 24x7 uptime and safety, and help build a skilled team of technicians and engineers.

You will manage power, cooling, and environmental monitoring, train staff on CMMS and procedures, and coordinate with contractors to meet 100% availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 3+ years in mission-critical environments.
• 1+ year in direct management of shift-based staff.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience building a preventive maintenance program for critical infra.
• Colocation data center or data hall experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate under high pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day operation and maintenance of data center infrastructure.
• Build staff with the skills to deliver 100% uptime while minimizing risk.
• Manage power and cooling capacity and monitor environments.
• Support 24x7 operations and on-call coverage.
• Coordinate with contractors and oversee CMMS data quality.
