Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Manager Engineering Operations to lead engineering operations at one or more data centers. This role supervises site engineers and drives SOP/MOP/EOP work, incident response, and performance improvements to maximize reliability.

You will coordinate maintenance, manage CMMS and ECC reporting, and ensure safety compliance across large-scale UPS, HVAC, and power systems. Strong leadership and vendor coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.
• 5 years of facility management experience in data center operations.
• Experience with mission-critical systems (UPS, HVAC, fire suppression) preferred.
• Strong documentation, SOPs/MOPs/EOPs development and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center engineering operations and supervise site engineers.
• Review/approve/implement SOPs/MOPs/EOPs and ensure training of staff.
• Coordinate maintenance events and ensure high availability of critical loads.
• Manage CMMS work orders and incident reports.
• Oversee BMS alarms, data extraction, trends and reporting.
• Lead root-cause analysis and executive summaries for incidents.
• Coordinate with Real Estate/Facilities teams and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
