Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Lead Engineer to oversee mission critical infrastructure operations in data centers. The role requires 24/7 coverage, with shifts including 2nd/3rd and weekend days, and a focus on maintaining building systems for client environments.

You'll lead maintenance, inspections, and repairs of power, cooling, and related infrastructure while coordinating with vendors and ensuring safety protocols. A technical education background and facility certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• AA/AS or equivalent education and experience, data center experience preferred.
• Trade license or certification or facilities maintenance certification.
• Experience with mission critical data equipment and fast-paced environment.
• Strong HVAC, mechanical, and electrical skills and understanding of computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect building infrastructure systems daily.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical and related systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on building equipment.
• Assemble and commission Data Center equipment.
• Prepare Change Management Forms and MOPs.
• Schedule maintenance with vendors and ensure safety procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and customer concerns promptly.
