Job summary

Digital Realty seeks a Manager Data Center Operations to oversee local data center facilities, engineering, and service delivery across one or more properties. You’ll lead the operations team, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with standards and SLAs.

You will drive proactive maintenance, coordinate customer deployments, and act as the primary escalation contact for operational incidents while aligning with Digital Realty’s security and safety policies.

Qualifications

• 10 years related facility management experience in data center operations with at least 5 years leading teams.
• Experience in construction, commissioning and operation of mission critical systems.
• Knowledge of structured cabling, networking and connectivity standards.
• Experience with colocation operations and power distribution systems.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee execution of local data center operations to ensure 24x7 uptime and SLA compliance.
• Supervise construction activity, installation and testing to meet standards and procedures.
• Coordinate customer move-ins, deployments and connectivity requirements with internal teams.
• Lead incident response, root-cause analysis and post-event remediation activities.
• Develop and audit local SOPs, maintenance standards and change management processes.
• Manage maintenance contracts and ensure vendor adherence to performance standards.
