Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field required.
• Typically requires 12 years of related work experience.
• Registration as a licensed US-based Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required.
• Up to 50% travel as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Senior Director or Vice President, Engineering and participates in planning.
• Develops and oversees the Engineering operation in their region, mapping staff skills.
• Recruit, train and deploy staff in their region.
• Oversees HR and budgetary aspects for the Regional Engineering group.
• Develops proposals and secures work for the firm solo or with others.
• Directs preliminary engineering activities for large value projects.
• Supports pre-construction, estimating and business development efforts.
• Visits project locations for feasibility studies and field investigations.
