Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead regional engineering operations, drive strategic planning, and manage staff and budgets. The role emphasizes pre-construction support, proposal development, and cross-functional collaboration with senior leadership.

Qualified candidates will have a PE license, a strong background in electrical engineering, and extensive experience in project development, testing, and commissioning across large-scale projects. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of all aspects of building systems electrical engineering and related discipline.
• Advanced management skills including planning, resource management and staff development.
• Experience with testing and commissioning and ability to resolve technically complex problems.
• Proficient in MS Office; Oracle experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight for regional engineering direction, planning and operations.
• Develop and map staff skills to work and recruit/train across the region.
• Oversee HR and budget for the regional engineering group.
• Develop proposals and secure work for the firm, solo or with others.
• Direct preliminary engineering activities and project development.
• Support design QA/QC, field investigations and commissioning operations.
• Represent the firm in client negotiations and dispute resolution when needed.
• Travel to project locations up to 50%.
