Job summary

Jacobs seeks an Electrical Engineer in the Advanced Manufacturing group to contribute to data center facilities engineering, design and construction. You will design power distribution systems, UPS, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications within complex industrial facilities, coordinating with a broad multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years' experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems and campus-style power distribution.
• Extensive knowledge of industrial facility design.
• Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software.
• Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) is preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engineering and design for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications.
• Perform quality reviews of design packages and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Interact with clients, owners, and contractors to support construction on site.
• Manage quality, scope, budget and schedule where applicable.
