Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineer in its Advanced Manufacturing group, with a focus on data center facilities engineering, design, and construction. You will contribute to power distribution, UPS, grounding, lighting, and low voltage systems across complex facilities.

The role requires 3+ years' experience, Revit/BIM proficiency, and strong communication. Location-flexible in the U.S. with a hybrid work model and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems and building electrical systems.
• Extensive knowledge of industrial facility design.
• Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software.
• Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) is preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications.
• Assist retrofit of existing building systems to evolving client requirements.
• Manage quality, scope, budget and schedule and interact with clients and contractors as needed.
