Job summary

Jacobs seeks an Electrical Engineer in the Advanced Manufacturing group to contribute to data center facilities design, power distribution, UPS, grounding, and low voltage systems. The role is location-flexible in the U.S. with a hybrid working policy and opportunities to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams.

You will design and review construction documents, interact with clients and contractors, and support project delivery while growing your expertise in mission-critical facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years' experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems.
• Extensive knowledge of and experience with industrial facility design.
• Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software.
• Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) is preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design power distribution systems for data center facilities.
• Provide design work and perform quality reviews of design packages.
• Interact with client, owner, and contractors to support construction on site.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to establish design requirements.
