Job summary
Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineer in our Advanced Manufacturing group to contribute to data center facility power distribution, UPS, grounding, lighting, and low voltage systems across complex industrial facilities. This role is location flexible in the United States and may involve on-site collaboration with clients and contractors.
You will design, review packages, and help mentor teammates while contributing to quality, scope, budget and schedule.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline required.
- Extensive knowledge of industrial facility design and experience with data center facilities.
- Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software.
- Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Engineering and design for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems.
- Interact with client, owner, and contractors to assist construction on site.
- Design may include retrofit of existing building systems to meet evolving requirements.
- Manage quality, scope, budget and schedule for projects.
