Job summary

Jacobs in the United States seeks an Electrical Engineer in our Advanced Manufacturing group to support data center facilities engineering, design, and construction. You will help design power distribution, UPS, grounding, lighting, and low‑voltage systems across complex facilities, while collaborating with clients and contractors.

You will perform design reviews, ensure quality, manage scope, budget and schedule, and interact with multi‑disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• PE license preferred or required.
• Experience designing medium/low voltage systems and campus power distribution.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer data center facility power distribution, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low‑voltage communications.
• Perform design package quality reviews and assist with other design process portions.
• Interact with client, owner, and contractors to support construction on site.
• Manage quality, scope, budget and schedule for projects.
