Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineer in our Advanced Manufacturing group. The role focuses on data center facility power distribution design, UPS, grounding, lighting, and low voltage systems for complex facilities.

You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, perform design reviews, and interact with clients and contractors to support construction on site. A PE license and 3+ years of data center experience are ideal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems and campus power.
• Strong knowledge of industrial facility design and electrical systems.
• Experience with Revit or BIM software and NEC knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver data center facility power distribution, UPS, grounding and lighting systems.
• Contribute to a fast-paced design process and perform quality reviews of packages.
• Interact with client, owner and contractors to assist construction on site.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and manage scope, schedule and budget.
