Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineer in our Advanced Manufacturing group to contribute to data center facility power distribution, UPS, emergency systems, and low voltage communications. This role offers location flexibility within the United States.

You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, perform design reviews, and interact with clients and contractors to advance projects. A PE license and 3+ years of data center design experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years' experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems.
• Extensive knowledge of industrial facility design.
• Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software.
• NFPA 70 (NEC) knowledge preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engineering and design for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting and low voltage communications.
• Perform quality reviews of design packages and support construction on site.
• Interact with clients, owners and contractors to advance projects.
