Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineer in our Advanced Manufacturing group to design data center power distribution, UPS, grounding, lighting and low voltage systems for complex facilities. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and interact with clients and contractors on site, with a flexible U.S.

location. Requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 6+ years in medium/low voltage distribution and industrial facility design, Revit/BIM, NEC knowledge, PE license; data center

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 6+ years experience in engineering design of medium/low voltage distribution systems and campus-style power distribution.
• Extensive knowledge of industrial facility design.
• Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software.
• Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC).
• PE license. Data center facility design experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engineering and design for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems in complex industrial facilities.
• Design may also include retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate evolving requirements.
• Management of quality, scope, budget and schedule.
