Job summary
Jacobs is hiring an Electrical Engineer for our Advanced Manufacturing group. You will contribute to data center facility electrical design, power distribution, UPS, grounding, lighting and low voltage systems within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team.
The role offers hybrid work within the United States and opportunities for collaboration with clients, owners, and contractors on design and construction phases. A PE license and data center experience are ideal.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
- 3+ years of engineering design experience for medium/low voltage distribution and campus-style power systems.
- Experience with industrial facility design and knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) is preferred.
- Proficiency with Revit or BIM software.
Responsibilities
- Provide electrical design for data center facilities power distribution, UPS, grounding, lighting and low voltage systems.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and interact with clients and contractors as needed.
- Perform design quality reviews and support project management with scope, schedule and budgets.
