Jacobs is seeking an Electrical BIM Designer to join our team, responsible for set-up and management of Revit BIM models in coordination with other discipline leads. You will create and manage content for fully coordinated 3D models across disciplines and produce 2D construction drawings using Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD, ensuring clash-free deliverables.

Qualifikationen

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of BIM design experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in electrical systems design and the construction industry.
• A growing understanding of how codes and standards shape design decisions.
• A growing understanding of design and construction specifications and their function.
• Basic understanding of wiring/cabling connections in relation to a circuit or a link between devices and equipment.
• Experience following client design and modeling standards.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar markup software.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to estimate hours required for design and modeling efforts based on provided mark-ups and/or verbal direction requests.
• Willingness to learn new things.
