The Design Engineer - Data Centers will create technical design solutions, drawings, BOMs, and quotes for BAC reps and customers in the Americas, collaborating across departments to ensure manufacturability and compliance. Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and at least 3+ years in mechanical design or related engineering role.
• Experience with HVAC systems or data center facilities is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact across departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide equipment selections, customized 2D drawings, and submittals to BAC customers and representatives.
• Develop mechanical/electrical designs based on project requirements and engineering standards.
• Build BOM and define components, materials, quantities, and part numbers for configured products.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and customer requirements.
• Support quotations and orders across Marketing, Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Engineering.
