Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc. is seeking a Thermal Engineer to join the global Thermal Modeling Group, developing thermal models for BAC's product lines to meet rating needs across platforms and support NPI initiatives and regulatory certification.

Required background includes thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer, with experience in heat rejection equipment modeling, DOE methods, and cross-functional collaboration with global engineering teams. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 8–10 years of engineering experience; global product development preferred.
• Experience with thermal modeling for heat rejection equipment and related software.

Responsibilities

• Develop thermal performance models and rating programs for BAC products.
• Provide thermal engineering support to NPI and prototype testing.
• Maintain and improve thermal certification processes with third-party testers.
• Improve thermal modeling tools and software for efficiency and accuracy.
• Support product enhancements, cost reductions, and quality improvements.
