Job summary

BAC (Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc.) is seeking a Customer Site Support Engineer in Jessup, MD to coordinate commissioning, startup, and post-installation support for designated customer projects. You will work with customers, representatives, contractors, and internal BAC teams to align resources, manage risks, and ensure on-schedule project execution while delivering world-class customer service.

Domestic travel up to 25% may be required, and you will contribute to process improvements across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in a customer-facing engineering, project management, quality, operations, field service, or related role.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and initiatives.
• Excellent customer service skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Negotiate through difficult issues without losing composure.
• Detail-oriented with a high sense of urgency.
• Knowledge of BAC products, applications, manufacturing processes, and installation practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate across Engineering, Sales, Applications, Manufacturing, Product Management, and Operations to achieve customer and project objectives.
• Ability to influence and lead without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate commissioning, startup, and post-installation support activities for assigned accounts.
• Develop, manage, and close cross-functional action plans addressing customer concerns, risks, and field challenges.
• Coordinate project activities among Customer Assurance, Field Service, Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Management, BAC representatives, contractors, and end users.
• Monitor and report on project plans and performance metrics to identify improvements.
• Provide customer and project input for new and existing product platforms.
• Participate in safety, continuous improvement, and compliance programs.
