Job summary
Baltimore Aircoil Company (BAC) in the Americas is seeking a Manager, Controls Engineering to lead the regional controls team and drive engineering excellence across hardware, firmware, software, and field support.
You will coach a multi-disciplinary group, set priorities, manage project execution, and collaborate with Product & Controls Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to meet regional product and business needs. Strong leadership and deep controls knowledge are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 7+ years in controls engineering with a minimum of 1 year in people management.
- Experience with PLCs, control algorithms, and hardware design.
- Knowledge of UL 508A, NEC/NFPA 70, and related standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the Americas Controls Engineering team.
- Manage development and sustaining activities for regional products.
- Provide design oversight across hardware, firmware, and control systems.
- Coordinate field-support activities, startup, and commissioning.
- Drive process improvements and governance across regional controls practices.
