Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Manassas, VA is seeking a Data Center Controls Engineer to troubleshoot and optimize BMS and EPMS across AWS data centers.

You will lead project initiatives, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure reliable power and control systems for critical infrastructure. The role requires a strong background in electrical engineering, data center operations, and hands-on experience with management of building and power monitoring systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field required.
• 5+ years of project management experience in data centers or similar critical infrastructure.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis for BMS and EPMS issues in AWS data centers.
• Train and assist internal customers on BMS/EPMS design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning and operation.
• Provide technical assistance to operations during the data center lifecycle.
• Develop scope, schedule, budget, and LOE for BMS/EPMS projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, finance, and execution of BMS/EPMS improvements.
