Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a BMS/EPMS Controls Engineer to join our team in Manassas, VA. You will troubleshoot, manage projects, and maintain the building management and power monitoring systems across AWS data centers, collaborating with internal customers and stakeholders.

You will lead lifecycle support, develop project scopes, budgets, and LOEs, and ensure compliance with SOOs and local codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of controls experience.
• 10+ years of controls experience can substitute for the degree.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.
• General project or vendor management experience in construction and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform Root Cause Analysis for BMS and EPMS in AWS data centers.
• Train and assist internal customers on BMS/EPMS design, configuration and operation.
• Provide technical assistance during data center life cycle.
• Manage scope, schedule, and LOE for BMS/EPMS projects.
• Participate in AWS on-call schedule for BMS/EPMS support.
