Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Controls Engineer to troubleshoot, configure, and optimize BMS and EPMS systems within AWS data centers.

You will lead projects from submittal through commissioning, collaborating with Construction, Critical Projects, and Operations teams. Ideal candidates have a background in electrical or mechanical engineering, experience with industrial controls, and strong vendor management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Industrial Controls Systems, both hardware and software.
• 5+ years of experience with industrial controls in critical environments (data centers, etc.).
• 4+ years of general project or vendor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Train and assist internal customers with BMS/EPMS systems.
• Provide technical support during life cycle of data centers.
• Develop project scope, schedule, budget and LOE for BMS/EPMS projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, finances and execution of BMS/EPMS improvements.
• Oversee procurement activities including RFQs and vendor proposals.
• Attend project meetings and report status to stakeholders.
