Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Data Center Controls Engineer to lead BMS and EPMS integration across AWS data centers.

You will own the controls scope from vendor submittal through commissioning, coordinating with Controls Managers and partner teams to ensure reliable, well-integrated systems. Key responsibilities include driving project scope, schedules, budgets, and on-call support, while maintaining strong vendor relationships and delivering operational excellence in a fast-paced cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of controls experience.
• Experience with industrial controls in critical environments (data centers, power, etc.).
• 4+ years of general project or vendor management in construction and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Train internal customers on BMS and EPMS system configuration and operation.
• Provide life cycle technical support for data center operations.
• Develop scope, schedule, LOE, and budgets for BMS/EPMS projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, finance and execution of BMS/EPMS improvements in AWS data centers.
• Coordinate procurement activities including RFIs, proposals, and PO issuance.
• Participate in AWS global on-call for BMS/EPMS support.
• Attend meetings, report status to Controls and stakeholders.
• Review and iterate on SOO and feedback to design team.
• Develop and modify control logic programming and GUIs.
• Manage multiple stakeholder deliverables and relationships.
• Oversee service contracts for BMS/EPMS.
• Visit data centers to troubleshoot and supervise vendor work.
