Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of building automation and electrical monitoring systems for AWS data centers.

The role focuses on aligning controls with business goals and managing cross-functional stakeholders across global projects. The ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical/mechanical engineering and industrial controls, with travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant controls experience in industrial environments.
• 4+ years of general project or vendor management related to construction and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage scope of Building Management System (BMS) and EPMS for AWS data center construction.
• Ensure data center controls are deployed per scope of work and specs.
• Review MEP drawings and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop controls bill of materials (BOM).
• Manage multiple stakeholders and navigate challenging situations.
• Schedule and supervise quarterly maintenance for BMS and EPMS.
