Job summary

Amazon AWS Infrastructure is seeking a highly skilled controls professional to lead BMS and EPMS implementations for critical data center projects in the United States. The role requires travel up to 25% domestically and internationally and a strong background in construction management, electrical/ mechanical engineering, and industrial controls.

You will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and vendors to ensure the controls systems meet SOWs, safety standards, and performance goals

Qualifications

• 4+ years of general contractor and vendor management work in construction and project execution
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering plus 5+ years of relevant controls experience, OR 10+ years of relevant controls experience in lieu of a degree
• 5+ years with industrial controls in critical environments (data centers, pharma, manufacturing, oil & gas, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Manage scope of Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) for AWS data center construction
• Review MEP drawings and develop controls BOM
• Provide vendor management and support to internal customers throughout life cycle of the data center
• Develop and modify control logic programming and graphical user interfaces
• Schedule and supervise quarterly maintenance for BMS and EPMS
