The Weitz Company is seeking a Construction Project Engineer for our Boling, TX data center site. You will support planning, buyout, management and closeout, helping monitor schedule and budget while reporting to the Project Manager.

You will organize documents, review submittals, and track RFIs and changes. Strong leadership, communication and detail orientation are essential to succeed on this fast-paced project team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project engineering experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Industry-related degree required.
• Data center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize, review, update, maintain and post construction documents and drawings.
• Collaborate with project team to complete RFIs.
• Review submittals and documents for accuracy against plans/specs.
• Assist in inspections, audits and non-conformance logs.
• Monitor material and equipment delivery status.
• Maintain project logs (buyouts, submittals, RFIs).
• Understand scopes for subcontracts/purchase orders.
• Track subcontractor change requests and draft change orders.
• Support project schedule management and meetings.
