Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to be located at our data center site in Boling, TX. The role supports planning, buyout, management, and closeout, reporting to the Project Manager and helping track schedule and budget performance.

You will organize construction documents, review submittals, monitor material deliveries, and maintain project logs while collaborating with the team to manage RFIs and change orders.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of project engineering experience required.
• Data center experience strongly preferred.
• Industry-related college degree required.

Responsibilities

• Organize, review, and post construction documents and drawings.
• Collaborate with project team to respond to RFIs.
• Review submittals for accuracy against plans and specs.
• Monitor material and equipment delivery status.
• Track logs such as buyouts, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Record meeting minutes and support closeout activities.
