Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Director of Construction for the West Region to lead a team of Construction Project Managers and oversee major capital projects within a dynamic data center environment.

The role emphasizes governance, execution, and cost optimization across development, expansion, redevelopment, and customer deployment initiatives, with significant interaction at the executive level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible construction management experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing project managers or construction professionals.
• CSA and MEP construction experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, develop, and manage a team of Construction Project Managers.
• Directly manage large-scale, high-value, and strategically significant construction projects.
• Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, commissioning, and turnover.
• Manage PM staffing, workload balancing, and resource allocation across markets.
• Escalate project delivery risks, schedule impacts, budget variances, and contractor performance.
• Establish project management standards, governance, reporting requirements, and reviews.
• Lead executive-level project reviews and portfolio reporting.
• Support annual capital planning, forecasting, and long-range development.
