Job summary

Anthropic in San Francisco is seeking a Commercial Associate, Data Center Asset Management to support renegotiations of data center leases and related agreements. You will work closely with the team lead, and are expected to be able to run a site on your own within six to nine months.

Qualifications

Carried complex commercial agreements from term sheet to signature.
Able to read a lease, work letter or construction contract and identify risks.
Maintains facts and relationships under pressure with counterparties.

Responsibilities

Run issues list on renegotiations and manage term sheets and amendments.
Draft term sheets, amendments and notices with counsel.
Write internal approval memos and obtain sign-offs from Finance, Legal, Construction, Power and Operations.
Maintain day-to-day channel with developer and counsel on deliverables, lists and dates.
Visit sites and translate construction observations into contract positions.
Own version control, notice calendar and claims register.
Help onboard two senior contract specialists.
