Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Transaction Manager for Canada to lead commercial sourcing and deal execution for data center capacity. You will own RFPs, negotiate term sheets, and align internal teams from sourcing to lease execution in a fast-growth environment.

The role requires steering multi-stakeholder negotiations, coordinating legal and technical teams, and driving the process to closure while supporting Anthropic's Canadian expansion strategy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in transaction management, commercial real estate, data center leasing, or infrastructure procurement.
• Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder transactions from sourcing through execution.
• Strong negotiation skills with experience structuring term sheets, LOIs, and commercial agreements.
• Excellent project management abilities coordinating legal, technical, finance, and operations teams.
• Experience with RFP processes and competitive sourcing for large-scale infrastructure or real estate deals.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to liaise between internal and external partners.
• Highly organized with attention to detail while focusing on strategic deal objectives.

Responsibilities

• Identify data center capacity opportunities and manage relationships across developers, brokers, and power providers.
• Lead RFP and commercial sourcing for Canadian data center deals; manage outreach, proposals, and competitive selections across markets.
• Negotiate term sheets and LOIs to meet technical and business requirements while maintaining partnerships.
• Bridge LOIs to executed transactions; ensure commercial, technical, and legal requirements are satisfied for closure.
• Serve as project manager for due diligence, internal/external counsel, and network deployments; coordinate stakeholders.
• Act as SPOC for auxiliary organizations including networks, deployments, and government relations; provide progress updates.
• Develop and maintain transaction timelines; track critical path items and risks impacting closure.
• Document/refine transaction processes and playbooks for scalable deal execution as Anthropic expands.
• Ensure stakeholder needs are captured in agreements translating technical/operational needs into terms.
• Manage complex digital infrastructure development activities to a construction-ready state; align with developers or direct builds.
• Marry projects, capital stacks, and developers at the right stages.
• Support long-term data center supply strategy.
