Job summary

Aligned Data Centers, LLC is seeking an Associate Solutions Architect to support technical and administrative work for hyperscale and enterprise pursuits. You will help create collateral, compare specs, and maintain technical records through qualification to execution.

This role is designed as a development path toward Senior Solutions Architect, with exposure to deal architecture, pricing impact, and customer interactions across pre-sale activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, civil or industrial) or related technical discipline preferred.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in data center industry or adjacent fields.
• Experience reading construction drawings and one-line diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Markup site plans, whitespace layouts, one-line diagrams reflecting customer configurations and scope; route to Engineering for verification.
• Build customer-facing and internal materials including technical presentations, contract exhibits, spec comparisons, and Q&A responses.
• Maintain version-controlled technical files and reports to enable visibility and cross-referencing of scope for opportunities.
• Support Solutions Architects across pre-sale lifecycle: qualification, review, proposal development, negotiation, hand-off to execution teams.
• Track open technical questions and action items; escalate items at risk of missing commitments.
• Collaborate with account teams on CRM hygiene, pursuit tracking, and meeting preparation.
• Attend deal reviews, customer calls, and site tours to understand deal architecture and negotiation dynamics.
