Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Engineer to join the Production Operations team in our Data Centers. You will support platform health, perform root-cause analyses, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to improve hardware and automation.

Travel up to 15% and 24/7 on-call duties are part of the role. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in infrastructure IT, Linux, server hardware knowledge, and scripting capability (Bash/Python/SQL).

Qualifications

• BS, BA or BEng in a technical field or commensurate experience.
• 5+ years IT experience in infrastructure.
• Linux proficiency in complex IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Resolve tickets and address root cause, including remote troubleshooting and physical inspection.
• Participate in root cause analyses of technical issues in the data center.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on hardware, process and automation projects.
• Assist in introducing new platforms and hardware, accelerating mass production.
