Job summary

Meta seeks an experienced Production Operations Engineer for its Data Center Operations team. You will diagnose and resolve platform issues, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate across teams to improve hardware, tooling, and automation.

The role includes 24/7 on-call rotation and up to 15% travel to support multiple sites. Minimum qualifications include a technical BS/BA, 5+ years in an IT infrastructure role, strong Linux skills, and hands-on hardware experience.

Qualifications

• BS, BA or BEng in technical field or commensurate experience.
• 5+ years of technical IT experience within an infrastructure environment.
• Intermediate Linux knowledge for triage and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Resolve tickets and address root cause, including remote troubleshooting.
• Perform root cause analysis on hardware, network, or tooling issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on hardware, process and automation projects.
• Introduce new platforms and hardware to sites, accelerating mass production.
• Use data to identify issues and communicate with stakeholders.
