Job summary

Meta is seeking a Data Center Production Operations Engineer to join the Data Centers Production Operations team. You will be the first point of contact for break-fix technicians, work within our ticketing system, and support hardware and Linux OS issues across our rapidly scaling infrastructure.

The role emphasizes automation, documentation, and collaboration on process improvements, with on-call rotation once a month.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience/certification.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and server hardware support.
• Experience in Networking, Programming/Scripting, Hardware, or OS repair is valued.

Responsibilities

• Work within Meta's ticketing system and be the first point of contact for break-fix technicians.
• Assist with projects and repairs across data centers; understand and debug hardware and Linux OS issues.
• Create and improve documentation for the data center knowledge base; participate in on-call rotations.
