Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our data center team. The role supports senior project managers in all facets of project management, including preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, negotiating contracts, coordinating design and construction teams, maintaining governance, and ensuring successful project turnover.

You will be mentored in more complex aspects of project management and relationship building while growing towards a Project Manager role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Construction, or Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience working on large building construction or civil projects.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFPs and solicit proposals.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and partners.
• Coordinate design and construction teams across the project.
• Maintain project governance and reporting.
• Conduct field quality control of craft trades at site.
• Assist in turnover and closeout of projects.
