Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our data center team. You will work side-by-side with senior project managers on all aspects of project management, including preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, negotiating contracts, and coordinating design and construction teams to ensure successful turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Construction, or Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience working on large building construction or civil projects.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre‑construction, delivery systems, and components.

Responsibilities

• As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work side‑by‑side with senior project managers in all aspects of project management, including preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, negotiating and managing contracts, coordinating design and construction teams, maintaining project governance, conducting field quality control of the craft trades at site, and ensuring successful project turnover.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Construction, or Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience.

CMIT (Construction Manager in Training)

EIT (Engineer-in-Training)

2+ years of experience on large building construction or civil projects

Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components
