D.R. Horton, Inc. Louisville is seeking a Superintendent in Danville, KY to manage all functions of the job site during home construction, coordinating subcontractors, homeowner walks, and inspections while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires scheduling, cost control, and strong communication with customers and internal teams to ensure a high-quality product from permit to closing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two to four years related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with MS Office and job site apps.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction schedule and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate subcontractors for each phase and ensure workmanship quality.
• Complete each home site from planning to occupancy with contract compliance.
• Inspect workmanship and halt noncompliant work, ensuring safety and codes.
• Authorize subcontractor payments after inspections and material receipt.
• Manage customer experience through the construction process and keep homeowners informed.
