D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent in Northern Kentucky to manage multi-home construction from permit to closing, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring safety and quality.

The role emphasizes customer service, on-time delivery, and adherence to building codes, with regular communications to sales and warranty teams.

Ideal candidates will have 2–4 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma, a valid license, and the ability to drive between communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years related construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, specs.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive between communities.
• Knowledge of building codes, permits, and inspections.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction schedule and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate subcontractors and evaluate workmanship for quality and safety.
• Complete each home site from planning through occupancy and closeout.
• Inspect work, halt non-compliant activities, and authorize payments.
• Manage customer experience and conduct homeowner orientations.
• Maintain site cleanliness and ensure a professional look during construction.
• Oversee post-close warranty process and address homeowner concerns.
• Communicate with sales and warranty teams to maintain project alignment.
