Job summary

Insomniac Events in California is seeking a Box Office Attendant to provide excellent customer service at ticketing and resolution points. You will verify Will Call orders, handle ticket distribution, and resolve gate scanning issues with a courteous, efficient approach.

Applicants should have sales/customer service experience, be comfortable with computers, and be able to de-escalate situations. A background check and drug test are required, and a valid driver’s license must be maintained.

Qualifications

• Sales and customer service experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable with using a computer.
• Ability to interact professionally and de-escalate situations.
• Background investigation and post-offer pre-employment drug/alcohol test required.
• Employee must maintain a valid driver’s license at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist patrons at the box office or ticket resolution areas with a high level of customer service.
• Identify Will Call orders by name, email, and credit card to distribute tickets correctly.
• Resolve scanning issues with tickets at the gate in a timely, courteous manner.
• Process cash and credit transactions using Front Gate POS.
• Maintain a professional, upbeat attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Keep the box office area clean and organized and provide festival information.
• Report to Box Office Management.
