Job summary

Insomniac, a live events company, seeks a Box Office Attendant to deliver high-quality customer service at the box office and ticket resolution areas for dance music events. Qualifications

• Sales and customer service-related work experience is preferred
• Must feel comfortable with using a computer
• Employee must complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test
• Employee must maintain and carry a valid driver’s license at all times

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in a training session for the Front Gate box office system to assist patrons with ticket orders
• Identify a customer’s will call order by verifying name, email and credit card details to distribute tickets properly
• Resolve any scanning issues with a patron’s ticket at the gate in a timely and courteous manner
• Accurately administer cash and credit card transactions with Front Gate POS system
• Contact supervisor for unanswered questions
• Maintain a professional, upbeat attitude and smile in a fast-paced environment
• Keep area clean and organized
• Provide accurate information about the event and respond confidently to attendee questions
• Understand evacuation procedures and safe refuge locations prior to show start
• Report to Box Office Management
