Job summary

Insomniac, a Live Nation subsidiary, is seeking a Box Office Attendant to provide high-level customer service related to ticketing at box office and ticket resolution areas in a fast-paced event setting in California.

You will train on Front Gate box office systems, verify will call orders, resolve scanning issues, and handle cash/credit transactions with accuracy while maintaining a friendly, helpful demeanor for all attendees.

Qualifications

• Sales and customer service-related work experience is preferred.
• Must feel comfortable with using a computer.
• Interact professionally with all levels of individuals in a courteous manner.
• Must be able to de-escalate situations before they become unpleasant.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in a training session for the Front Gate box office system to assist patrons with ticket orders.
• Identify a customer’s will call order by verifying name, email and credit card to distribute tickets.
• Resolve any scanning issues at the gate promptly and courteously.
• Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions with Front Gate POS.
• Report to supervisor for unanswered questions.
• Maintain a professional, upbeat attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Keep area clean and organized.
• Provide accurate information about the event and surroundings.
• Take initiative when answering attendee questions.
• Treat all attendees with respect and sincerity.
• Understand evacuation procedures and safe refuge locations before shows.
• Assist Box Office Management as needed.
