Job summary

Always Best Care in Dallas is seeking a dedicated Home Care Scheduler to coordinate caregiver schedules and ensure client coverage. This fast-paced role requires hands-on scheduling and caregiving experience, with in-office work at the Dallas location.

You will manage shifts, handle last-minute changes, and collaborate with the caregiving and admin teams to maintain reliable client care. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Professional caregiving experience is REQUIRED.
• Previous scheduling experience in home care is REQUIRED.
• Ability to cover last-minute shifts when needed.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain caregiver schedules based on client needs and caregiver availability.
• Respond quickly to caregiver call-offs and scheduling conflicts.
• Proactively contact caregivers to restaff open shifts and prevent gaps in client care.
• Provide direct caregiver coverage when a last-minute shift cannot be restaffed.
• Monitor caregiver hours and overtime when scheduling decisions are made.
• Coordinate and document caregiver time-off requests and availability changes.
• Communicate professionally with caregivers, clients, families, and staff.
• Maintain scheduling system with accurate availability and changes.
• Document schedule changes and related communications.
• Assist with onboarding and administrative data entry as needed.
